It was back to 2002 when Modsognir had vision of the band which was going to play music where was influences from Viking and folk metal. First songs were played at the January 2002 but through the many difficulties and some people leaving from the band, the thing was really getting started in the summer 2003.

Between that time (2002-2003) band’s name was changing many times but when the whole thing was coming together and pieces fitting in, we really made progress about our music. Songs were made at the short time and they started to remind the songs that we were after.

The first demo ”YЦ JAHTI” was released in the year 2005. All the copies were sold at the world wide. First demo was really primitive and we were still learning the whole thing. A little trivia to you about this session, our drummer Mikko could have been able to buy new drums with the money that we had from the empty bottles. So it was really intense time in the recordings.

The second demo ”AURINGONKEHRД” was released in the year 2006. The whole thing was getting a little more serious and we concentrated on this one. We managed to get Tonmi Lillman to mix our demo and he is really pro at that. So it sounded really great.
